Roleplay Map Claims Thread
As Minister of Roleplay for Almaren, I am proud to announce the grand opening of map claims and regional roleplay on the Almaren forums. In order to participate in regional roleplay, your nation must first be mapped by completing a map claim (see the template below). This thread will allow you to view the latest version of the official map, post your own map claim, and ask any questions you have regarding the map. I look forward to our roleplay's bright future!
Map & Claim Rules
1. Names for continents and oceans (i.e. Midlantic Ocean, Adoris) can be replaced if the replacement name has the approval of a majority of nations which inhabit that continent or border that ocean.
2. No claim may overlap an existing claim.
3. No claim may exceed 60,000 pixels on an equal area projection.
See Zarahoz and Escanthea on the map, which both approach this cap (59k and 57k pixels respectively).
4. Claims belonging to nations who have been inactive in the roleplay subforum for 30 days shall be removed.
5. Nations may only use roleplay statistics from their claim in roleplaying.
NationStates statistics are deliberately and humorously inaccurate and cannot be used for roleplaying.
6. No claim may exceed a population of 1.4 billion.
